Santiago Solines Moreno is an attorney who has been partner at the Firm since 2008. He holds a master’s degree in Energy Law and Business and another in Government and Public Administration that he obtained abroad, along with a master’s degree in Political Communication and Governance from the Graduate School of Political Management of George Washington University (GWU). He has completedgraduate studies in Ecuador in Governance and attended open courses on Urban Planning and in Government Procurement Law. He has attended international courses in Political Management and Public Policies, mainly in the United States, Spain, and Chile. In his professional career, he has specialized in energy, corporate, and commercial law, along with government procurement. Solines has extensive experience that includes some of Ecuador’s largest mergers and acquisitions, forming consortiums and incorporating various other types of companies.  He has participated in major government procurement procedures, particularly relating to the hydrocarbons, energy, and mining industries.  Recent work in the energy sector includes advising one of Spain’s key public sector agencies.  In the political arena, he has held top positions in Ecuador’s Ministry of Government.
