SOLINES & ASSOCIATES was founded by Carlos Solines Coronel and Ximena Moreno de Solines in 1972. At the beginning, the Firm was mainly dedicated to the areas of commercial, civil, and labor law. However, as it has grown, we have added to these areas, now offering a wide range of professional services.
From its foundation, the Firm conceived practice of the profession as an instrument to serve both people and companies in their search to avoid conflicts and facilitate development of their activities and businesses, always working within the Law. For this reason, during our more than thirty five years of professional activity, the Firm has been a pioneer in the development of mechanisms that avoid confrontation and litigation, thus promoting harmonious relationships between parties.
Those of us who make up the Firm believe that in this globalized world in which we live, with quickened processes of change and ever more sophisticated technology, many concepts have suffered serious changes. For this reason, when legal business or the interests and rights of people are put into conflict, we need to use dynamic and efficient mechanisms to resolve them. Our modern and practical vision adds international quality to our services.
Facing new realities and the need for renovation in the legal field, the Firm has worked intensively to better serve its clients with trained professionals who are able to offer legal advising with new objectives, concepts, and technologies.
Over the past few years, new attorneys have joined the firm, giving it an interesting projection into the future, since the young professionals that have joined us have the latest specializations with juridical importance acquired both inside and outside of the country.
The firm´s main offices are located in the city of Quito, with correspondents in different countries around the world, and an office in the city of Guayaquil.
The majority of the firm´s attorneys have held important public offices implying political responsibility, and some of them have had interesting professional experience in the United States and in Europe, which makes it possible for them to maintain close relationships with legal firms in Latin America, the United States, Europe, and Asia, positioning us as a law firm with the prospect of growing within the country.
